Funeral Director, Embalmer
Terri graduated in 2008 from American River College in
Sacramento, CA with a degree in Mortuary Science. She holds a Funeral
Director license in California and Florida. Terri is also serving an
Embalming internship at Emerald Coast Funeral Home. Terri and her family have
recently moved to the Fort Walton Beach area and are enjoying living on the
Funeral Director, Embalmer, Crematory Operator.

Jeffrey was born and raised in Carrollton,
Georgia. He graduated from Jefferson State Community College in
Birmingham, Alabama with his Associate’s degree in Funeral Science.
Jeffrey started in the funeral business in 1997 in Carrollton, Georgia and
moved to Milton, Florida in 2007. Jeffrey enjoys the outdoors including
camping and long walks on the beach. His favorite pastime activity is
playing the piano. Jeffrey has been in the business for over 20 years and
looks forward to another 20 years with McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home.
Mark A. Robertson, MS, MDiv.
Grief Support Counselor/Officiant for Funerals and Memorial
Mark is a retired minister, who was an Emergency Room
(ER) chaplain (as a civilian), and a Chaplain, Captain in the US Air
Force. After military retirement (2014), he earned Masters of Science in
Clinical Counseling and Psychology at Troy University (2017) – with the goal of
opening a faith-based, private counseling practice that specializes in trauma
treatment, addiction intervention, and grief counseling. Mark is married
to Lisa, and they have a blended family of four children. They live in
Destin, Florida, and their church is Destiny Worship Center, where both he and
his wife serve as members of the Prayer
Team. On active duty, Mark had three deployments with mortuary duties;
and is the grandson of a funeral director. As a Grief Support Counselor
for Emerald Coast Funeral Home, Mark officiates funerals, preaches eulogies,
and counsels grieving families -- during their time of loss, and after the
funeral. At Emerald Coast Funeral Home, the Bereavement Support Group
meets weekly – on Tuesdays @ 1-3PM. For participants who arrive early, or
wish to stay late, Mark offers free, counseling services on Tuesdays, from 10AM
to 12PM, and 3PM to 4PM.
Clergy Funeral Assistant
Reverend Dr. Roger Peadro is originally a native of
central Illinois, and he comes to the McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home staff with ministry and
pastoral experience dating back to 1984.
Serving congregations in Kentucky and Florida, Roger has been the pastor
of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Ft. Walton Beach since 2003. He has also been involved with various
community groups such as Rotary, Habitat for Humanity, the Homelessness and
Housing Alliance, the Take Stock In Children’s Mentoring program, and Community
Solutions. He is a graduate of the
University of Illinois (BS), Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv), and
Beeson Divinity School (DMin). Roger is
married to Annette Peadro (BCBA, M.Ed.), the director and owner of Development
and Behavior Solutions in Ft. Walton Beach.
Together, they have 6 adult children and 2 grandchildren.
Grief Support and Ambassador
Joan Young was previously employed at Twin Cities Funeral Home for 10 years and we are delighted that she has joined us again. She was National President for Gold Star Wives from 2005-2007. Ms. Joan was Volunteer of the Year for the Mental Health Association in 1999. She was inducted into the Okaloosa County Women's Hall of Fame in 2000 and the Okaloosa County Wall of Fame in 2005. For 18 years, she served as Chapter Leader for the Compassionate Friends Grief Support Group. She is currently a volunteer for the VA Clinic and previously volunteered for the Crisis Line, The Sexual Trauma Team and Transformers. She was deemed Employee of the Year at a previous employer in 1996. Ms. Joan has an Associates of Science Degree. Employee of the Year at Gulf Power, she is also a Gold Star Wife.
