Vivian K. Milton

Vivian King Milton, age 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2022. She was born June 2, 1934, in Glenwood, Alabama to Ray and Effie Belle King.

After graduating high school, Vivian attended Carraway Nursing School in Birmingham, Alabama to become a nurse.  She married Billy Milton on June 18, 1954, and was blessed with three children. The family moved to Valparaiso, Florida in 1962.

Vivian was preceded in death by her husband Billy. She is survived by her children Allen (Aleta) Milton, Mala Peerson, and Phyllis (Marty) Ruckel, three dear sisters-in-law, Erma King, Sandra Milton, and Margaret May, grandchildren Jessica, Aaron, Paul, Perry, Richard, Lauren, Wava and Marysa, and several great and great-great-grandchildren, and special cousin Bill Knight.

Visitation will be at 11:30 A.M. Friday, September 9, 2022, at McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home 1405 John Sims Parkway, East, Niceville, Florida with a graveside service to follow at Sunset Cemetery. A reception will be held after burial at the home of Allen & Aleta Milton, 219 East Kathy Lane, Freeport, Florida.

We would like to thank the caring staff at the Manor at Bluewater Bay for the loving care they gave Vivian during her six years residing there.
