Victoria Lawrence Keller
August 20, 1933- January 05, 2021
Victoria went to her heavenly home January 5th, 2021 after an extended illness. She was born in Florala, Al., attended Covington County School graduating valedictorian of her class in 1951. She lived in Pensacola until she began a career at Okaloosa Walton Community College. Vickie served as secretary to founding president Dr. J.E. McCracken and was later promoted to assistant of Vice President for Administrative service. She was the first person to retire from Okaloosa Walton Community College with 30 years of continued service. During this time, she met her husband Robert N. Keller.
After retiring Vickie spent countless hours working in her yard and reading. She was preceded in death by husband Robert (Bob) Keller, mother, Virginia Lawrence Roberts, stepfather F.A. Roberts, brothers Bobby A. Lawrence, John I. Roberts, sister Sara (Susie) Morris, & niece Donna Sue Morris. She leaves behind sister Mary Aplin (Joe) & Alice Fuller (Jerry). Survived also by niece & nephew Brian Lawrence, Robert Lawrence, Stephen Lawrence, Ronald Morris, Sherrie Morris, Tami Cook, Victoria Jordan, Kelly Schultz, Jason Fuller, Jeania Despres, Joey Aplin & Joshua Aplin.
Her caring ways and sharp wit molded her life to the Golden Rule. Graveside service will be held January 9th at 1:10 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Valparaiso, Fl. Father Nelson Toledo officiating.
