1920-2018

Lillian Vucovich, age 98, of  Niceville, FL, passed away on September 1, 2018.

She was born in Pensacola, FL to Birger and Jennie Testman on May 10, 1920.

Lillian is predeceased by her husband, Harold Vucovich, her parents, her 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her children, Buddy Vucovich (Debbie), Judy Lacy, Debbie Revell (Doug),  and Wayne Vucovich;  5 grandchildren, Todd Vucovich, Cathan Snyder, Judy Clausen, Benjamin Lacy, and Sarah Vucovich;  8 great- grandchildren, and 1 great- great-granddaughter.

Lillian, a true model for the “Greatest Generation”, greeted life’s challenges and blessings with the same positive, resilient attitude and sharp wit. She lived life to its fullest traveling to experience much of the world, was a passionate bridge player (Gold Life Master), voracious reader and accomplished quilter and knitter.  She enjoyed staying fit with water aerobics and working out at the gym well into her 90’s but her favorite physical activity was riding her 3 wheel bike throughout Bluewater Bay.    As much as anything, Lillian loved spending time with her friends and family (especially a good family mullet fry). She was a one-of-a-kind and will be sorely missed by us all.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made in Lillian’s memory to Emerald Coast Hospice.
