John Michael Barnes

John Michael Barnes, age 77, of Niceville, FL passed away on September 28, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital of the Emerald Coast.  John was born to Michael and Maxine Barnes in New York City, NY.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years  Patricia Barnes and his children John (Terri) Barnes of New Canaan, CT.; Kevin (Brigette) Barnes of Flemington, NJ; and Jeanne Barnes of Niceville, FL.; Grandchildren Kylie, Vallon, Molly and Will;  his sister, Eileen and brother Donald.

John served his country in the U.S. Navy.  After the navy, he began his career in the telecommunication industry in NYC.  He and his wife then retired to the emerald coast.  John had a passion for golf, poker and was an extreme animal lover.
