Joanne Jakobson

On May 27, 2020 Joanne Jakobson met her angel to take her to heaven.  A long and painful fight with cancer, finally took its toll.  Her loving husband, Colonel Ronald Jakobson, having passed last year will help guide her to eternal life.  She leaves cherished memories to her three sons James LoCoco (Janet), Edward LoCoco (Kathy), and Chris LoCoco; a brother Bob Young (Sandra); and so many countless others in family and friends. Although a sad day for the world, we celebrate the full and happy life of “Teri” as her friends called her.  Her smile so contagious as she walked in a room.  Her stories of life and adventure as compelling a page turner as a #1 best seller. I never knew anybody quite like mom. She had enough love for everybody.  She loved a sunrise in the summer and a sunset in the fall. She loved all her friends and family most of all.  She loved to read her books a mystery or a romance.  She loved to sing a song while she did a little dance. I was so lucky to be part of her life.  She will forever be remembered by all as a good friend, neighbor, and for me, my mom.  I LOVE YOU, MAMA.
