Guy M. Scurti

Guy M. Scurti, 88, of Niceville, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. He was born on June 19, 1932, in Boston Massachusetts, to parents Gaetano and Mary.

Guy served in the United States Marine Corps for 3 ½ years, including assignments in Korea and Puerto Rico. During a lengthy career with Pratt and Whitney, Guy worked in Connecticut, Florida, Missouri, Arizona and California. Eventually he was transferred to Europe where he spent 15 years in Belgium and Germany, retiring from his position there as Regional Manager for Product Support in 1993. He and Ellie lived in both Massachusetts and Florida during their retirement years.

Guy was a sports, fishing, computer and travel enthusiast. While living overseas, Ellie and Guy’s extensive travels added richness and enjoyment to their lives. He enjoyed good wine, good food, and spending time with his family and friends.

Guy is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Eleanor (Ellie); his brother, Robert; his sister, Connie; and nephews Gary and Jim.

He is survived by his brother Gene; nieces Gail. Laurie, Linda, and Janet; nephew Bob; as well as numerous grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank his friends, including Pam, Darrell, Debbie, Kathy, Missy, and many others for their kindness and compassion.

A graveside service will be held at a later date, to be announced, in Milo Maine.
