Faye B. Floyd

Mrs. Faye Brannon Floyd, age 95, of Valparaiso, Florida passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023.  She was born in 1927 in Covington County, Alabama.  She retired from the City of Valparaiso with over forty years of service, culminating in her being the City Clerk.  In her spare time, she enjoyed being outdoors—especially in her flower garden. 

Faye is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Floyd; and three siblings.  She is survived by her two children, Glenn (Dorothy) Floyd and Connie Terry; her three grandchildren, Teresa Terry, Bobbie Barton, and Jackie Misiura; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Cemetery, in Valparaiso.  Chaplain Thomas Baez will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Faye’s name to Vitas Hospice, 4576 E Hwy 20, Niceville, FL, 32578 or visit www.vitas.com
