Dorothy Lou Atkins

Dorothy Lou Atkins “Dottie” age 97 of Niceville, Fl. Went to join her husband Jack after passing away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. She was born on May 19, 1923, in Louisa, Kentucky to Forrest and Pluma Damron. She had been a resident of the local area for the past 30 years. She was a Christian by faith. One of her favorite hobbies was golfing. Family and friends would say she was excellent at it winning many tournaments’. Friends and neighbors would remember her as the lady driving the golf cart throughout the Blue Water neighborhood. She loved her family and friends and especially her grandchildren to which she was so proud.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, a Sister and Brother and one Granddaughter.
She is survived by four children; Daughters, Jackie Cayce, Betty Sprott, Patty Clift and Amy Hayden, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
