Donald R. Roberson, Jr.

Mr. Donald Ray “Donny” Roberson Jr. age 63 of Niceville, FL. passed away on Friday November 22, 2019 following a courageous battle with cancer.  He passed peacefully at his home  surrounded by his family. Mr. Roberson was born on July 24, 1956 in Niceville Florida the son of the late Donald Roberson Sr. and the late Helen Willingham Roberson. He was a veteran, serving two tours with US Navy . Donny loved life. He enjoyed his friends, being in the woods, riding his motorcycle and was deeply involved in all aspects of gun collecting and shooting.   

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Surviving Mr. Roberson are one sister Gail (Mark) Funke of Kathleen, GA., one brother Pat Roberson of the home, who stayed by his side, one niece Torri Poli, three nephews; Thomas (Jennifer) Volcko, Benjamin (Sarah Anne) Volcko, and Jacob Funke, also one aunt Angie (Grady) Alford, and many cousins and friends.

A memorial service and interment will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital in Mr. Roberson’s memory.
