Beverly Ball Moore of Niceville, Florida passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 8, 2022. Beverly was born on November 27, 1934 in Alexandria, Louisiana, the only daughter of Jesse Nelson Ball Jr. and Beverly Kennon Ball. Beverly graduated from Bolton High School in Alexandria in 1952.
Beverly met, fell in love, and married her high school sweetheart, Joseph David Moore. Together they raised a family, traveled the world, established lifelong friendships, and were passionate about serving their country and the Air Force family.
Beverly was the much-loved matriarch of the Moore clan. She loved her family, fishing, hunting, traveling and spending time with friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Maj. Gen. Joseph David Moore USAF (Ret), her parents Jesse Nelson Ball Jr and Beverly Kennon Ball, brother Jesse ‘Buddy’ Nelson Ball III, and her grandson Thomas David Moore.
Surviving are her sons David Moore of Shalimar, Florida; Robert Moore of Niceville, Florida; Jeffrey (Veronica) Moore of Slaughter, Louisiana; and daughter, Elizabeth (Bill) Moore-Malec of O’Fallon, Illinois; four grandchildren Kent (Bridgett) Moore, Joseph Moore, Jonathan (Margaret) Moore, and Heather Moore-Malec; and nine great grandchildren Landon Moore, Jordan Ponds, Ryan Ponds, Kannon Moore, Paityn Moore, J.T. Moore, Emily Moore, Payton Moore, and Levi Moore.
Visitation: Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home, 1405 E. John Sims Parkway, Niceville FL.
Funeral: Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at McLaughlin Twin Cities Funeral Home, 1405 E. John Sims Parkway, Niceville FL. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.
