Barbara B. Martin

Barbara B. Martin age 68 of Niceville, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 26, 2018, at her home with her loving family near.  She was born on September 29, 1949, in Dallas, Texas, to John C. and Sarah Benson.  Barbara was Baptist by faith.  She had been a resident of the area since moving here in the 1980’s. She was a loving Wife and Mother her family was the very most important thing to her.  Her favorite hobbies were sewing and she especially loved cooking.  Family and friends would say she was an awesome cook. She also considered her pets all part of her loving family.  She was preceded in death by her father.  She is survived by her loving family; Husband, William Martin of 36 years marriage.  Her mother: Sarah Cathern Benson, Children; Tracy (Bryan) Cheslow, Elizabeth Martin, and Rebekah Martin. Brother; Johnny (Cindy) Benson, Nieces and nephews; Kathy (Shorty) Boone, Judy (Carl) Watts, Virginia Gail (Roger) Faille, Chris and Jessie Benson.  The family will receive friends at a visitation on Mon. April 2, 2018, from 10-11 a.m.at the Rosemont Baptist Church, Niceville; Fl.
