Obituary for Paul Williams

Paul (Pete) Williams, 76, of Niceville, Florida passed away Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL.

Paul was born November 8, 1933 in Southern Pines, North Carolina the son of Lenny and Iola (Garner) Williams. He was a retired Chief Master Sergeant serving thirty years active duty in the United States Air Force. Chief Williams was assigned to Eglin AFB in 1978, where he served as Chief of Plans and Scheduling for the 3205th Logistics Group. In 1980 he voluntarily reassigned to the Munitions SPO where he served as a Munitions Test Manager. In 1983 he retired from active duty and was hired Civil Service as a Research and Development Manager.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his older sister Jeanette and daughter, Tina Marie Williams.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Mollie Williams of Niceville, his son, Peter Williams of Fort Walton Beach, Sister Georgia Williams Ferguson & family and brother Ricky Williams & family.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held 12:30 PM Friday, March 12, 2010 at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL.
