Louis “Lee” L. Carter passed away on Tuesday morning, February 9, 2010.
Lee was born August 30, 1989 in Alexandria, LA, the son of Shannon Maher Carter and Louis Carter Jr. Lee was a lifelong resident of Niceville, FL graduating Niceville High School in 2008 and was a member of the ROTC. He was currently a student of Billy Mosteferis HVAC Class at Okaloosa Applied Technology Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
He is survived by his parents, Louis and Shannon; sister, Lacy E. Carter; Grandfather, Louis L. Carter Sr. and Grandfather, Frank R. Maher; Great Grandmother, Mary Lea Garrett; Uncles, Michael Maher, Louis Wayne Carter and Charles Anthony Carter; Aunts, Lisa Maher and Sandy Fisher Maher; Great Uncle, James P. Garrett.
He is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Thelma Lawson Carter and Grandmother, Barbara Garrett Maher.
Lee will be missed by his closest friends, Coral and Kyle McNabb, Evan Pellnitz, Patrick Dixon, Michael Essex and Jonathon Haire.
A time of visitation will be held 1:00 to 3:00 PM Monday, February 15, 2010 at the Twin Cities Cremation Services and Funeral Home, 1405 John Sims Parkway E, Niceville, FL. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Roy Marien officiating. Lee will be laid to rest at Westlawn Memorial in Gretna, LA.
