Pam Evans: I had the great priviledge of meeting Louis (Lee) when we worked together at the San Destin Waffle House. He inspired me and touched my heart. We laughed together and cried together on a couple occasions. He was kind and funny and it was my great fortune to have met him. Enjoy your new home in the kingdom of God and I will see you there in the future. Thank you for being my friend.

Louis Carter: My dearest son I will miss you everyday of my life. I will miss playing video games and fussing at you to pick up your socks. I know you no longer feel pain and can run like the wind thank you God for another 7 years with a new heart.

Janet Johnson: Dear Louis, Shannon and Lacy,
We were shocked and saddened to read of Lee's passing. My first memories of Lee are from Mrs. Colquitt's Kindergarten class with Paul - how simple and fun life was. Then together as Cub Scouts - so many great times. I especially remember camping at Rocky Bayou. Ben and Lacy were there too, so young.
