  • Lori Clark: We are so sorry for your great loss. This is a loss for many people! Shana told me that at the festival, people were automatically drawn to this charismatic, caring, loving individual. Actually, there was a couple in their 50' s, that Chad and Shana spent much time with. Shana told me they absolutely fell in love with this young man.
With much love, Matt and Lori Jo Clark

  • Nigel Elliott: Dear Mary Anne, Bryce and family,
It pains me to hear that Chad has parted with us at such an early age. It seems such a short time ago that he and Ryan were in karate together; I remember Ryan and Chad training and doing their belts together and also skim boarding at the beach. When Chad graduated high school, he said he was going into the Coast Guard, which surprised me as he never seemed the military type- but I could see him making a success of it. A year later I saw him in FWB.... all cut, tanned and with dreadlocks... enjoying the beach life, and that's how I'll remember him. The last I saw him was at Beef's, with his dad, short hair this time, still the life-loving optimistic boy I had always known, looking forward to helping out in the new restaurant. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
    Our heartfelt condolences to all.
    Paul, Lauren and Ryan Elliott

  • Diane Hixon: Dear Bryce, Mary Ann, Troy and family, My whole family was deeply saddened by the news. We have known the whole family when my children worked at the Boathouse...seems like everyone there was one big happy family! We lost contact with the family over the years, but loved running into them in town from time to time. We were so glad Bryce was back in the area sharing his cooking talents! Please know our prayers and thoughts are with you in this sorrowful time. With Heartfelt Sympathy, Diane and Joe Hixon and family
